Vehicle Eligibility

  • Refer to complete eligibility guidelines contained within the Kia Certified Program Manual on JM&A Group Dealer Source for currently eligible and excluded vehicles.
  • All sources are eligible: trades, off lease or purchase.
  • Vehicles with less than 80,000 miles are eligible.
  • Current model year or 5 previous years from current year are eligible. January 1st of each year will count as the drop-off date. For example, on January 1 of 2023, all 2023-year vehicles are the current model year, 2022 vehicles are current +1, 2021 vehicles are current +2.
  • Vehicle must have been originally sold in the continental U.S., Hawaii, or Alaska.
  • Vehicles cannot possess a branded title containing any of the following designations:
    • Salvage
    • Rebuilt
    • Dismantled
    • Junk
    • Flood
    • Reconstructed
    • Mileage Unknown
    • Water Damaged
  • NOTE: You are REQUIRED to use a vehicle history report to check vehicle history. CARFAX® Vehicle History Reports™ are provided at no additional charge to dealers enrolled in the Kia Certified Pre-Owned™ Program.
  • Vehicles cannot have unrepaired recalls.
  • Factory re-purchase vehicles (buy-backs), lemon law vehicles, vehicles which have been damaged by natural disasters (e.g., flood, earthquake) and repaired (may or may not have a branded title) but require disclosure to the buyer and customer are not eligible.
  • Vehicles that have been involved in any accident, collision or situation which has damaged the frame/unibody are not eligible.
  • Vehicles cannot have any body or chassis modification, including, but not limited to:
    • Lower body kits
    • Raised suspension/body kits
    • Lowered suspension
    • Special fairings
    • Ground effects
    • Roof modifications or conversions
    • After-market turbos/supercharger/nitrous/cold air induction modifications
    • Headers/altered smog or emissions equipment
  • Vehicles with altered 4WD, oversized tires or rims are not eligible (tires and wheels must be the same size and load rating as OEM tires and wheels).
  • Vehicles that have been involved in any accident, collision or situation which rendered the frame, unibody and/or any panel bent in any way must be repaired so that the durability is not adversely affected.
